The First Husky Martin Walker Ford Transit came out in 1968 and was on sale for one year only in 1969 and was only sold in Wolworths stores. Corgi took over the company only one year later and real fast made changes to the base at first with a small sticker then producing a base with the name Corgi Whizzwheels, The Back doors come in Silver or white, the model was based on a real van made by Martin walker company a conversion company making van based caravans this is an amazing van. A man i met at a toyshow in 1980 told me that some of the vans had a paint problem and were touched up by girls at the factory in order to give them an aceptabble finish for selling amazing that they should go to all this trouble and I just love it.
