Dinky Transits

Dinky are one of the best made toys ever to be sold that's for sure a solid casting that has lasted for ever and you see them all the time at shows due to the fact they were made so well, this however has not helped the price and the regular easy to find ones can still be picked up at good prices. The first Dinky transit came out in 1966 just months after the real Transit van released by ford in August 1965. The first Tampo was a promotional van KENWOOD on the side and it was painted in a light blue and light blue roof, this changed in just a few months to a model with the same colour only with the white roof to match the real Kenwood vans that were on the road at the time. Over the years the Model Did change and Between 1966 and 1979 in all Dinky brought out the Ford Transit's some of them easy to find even today but some of them extremely rare in deed.

start with in 1966 the vans came Bubble packs in around 1969 they were in Boxes then they moved and ended up with window box.
